Jessica Christie set up Funky Fitness to provide classes to help parents, children, teachers and teens to reach their fitness goals.
Fun fitness with Jessica Christie in Devon aimed at parents, teachers, children and teens.
Through exercise and movement we can educate the body to feel, think and learn with a connection to whom we are and even deepen our own self worth.
Our self worth can give us ambition, with ambition we can have dreams and with our dreams we can allow ourselves to see a whole new life in the future.
Every child needs an education which feeds them emotionally, spiritually and intellectually. Our bodies also need to be fed to develop succesfully.
Without movement our bodies become bored and we start to lack concentration in other areas of our life because our bodies can not relax. If we lack concentration our brain can also not relax and therefore our brain becomes bored too. It is therefore equally as important to educate the body as it is the brain...our body, spirit and brain are after all a team!
Funky Fitness uses dance styles, yoga stretches, toning exercises, improvised movement, elements of drama and relaxation to provide a stimulating, creative and fun-filled way of developing fitness in Exercise Classes and Workshops set to music for a variety of age ranges from child to adult.
